The Republican Party has been racist for over 50 years.
Donald Trump is another Republican racist who's now president.
The Republican Party is destroying the planet and our country.

I'm in complete agreement with Noam Chomsky below.
The Republican Party is the most dangerous party in the world.

It is not just their desire to destroy the planet for greed.
Since Reconstruction, they've been first and foremost, pro business over all else.
After 1912, the Party underwent an ideological shift to the right.

The Democratic Party passed civil rights legislation.
Republicans then embraced the Southern Strategy of racism.

Republican policies for 50 years

anti-immigrant
pro tobacco
anti-electric car
anti-science
anti-gun control

Lee Atwater had discussed the origin and thinking behind the Southern Strategy in a 1981 interview with a political scientist. It surfaced in an audio recording obtained by The Nation magazine in 2012. In it he said:
You start out in 1954 by saying, "Nigger, nigger, nigger." By 1968 you can't say "nigger" — that hurts you, backfires. So you say stuff like, uh, forced busing, states' rights, and all that stuff, and you're getting so abstract. Now, you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is, blacks get hurt worse than whites. … "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, uh, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "Nigger, nigger."
Atwater set the stage for today with people like Gingrich and Manafort.
The Republicans cannot be trusted with anything and must be defeated.
Before he died in 1991, Atwater apologized for the tactics he used, noting that while he didn't invent negative politics he was "one of its most ardent practitioners."
But even that appears to be suspect. From Wikipedia:

Ed Rollins, however, stated in the 2008 documentary Boogie Man: The Lee Atwater Story, that "[Atwater] was telling this story about how a Living Bible was what was giving him faith and I said to Mary [Matalin], 'I really, sincerely hope that he found peace.' She said, 'Ed, when we were cleaning up his things afterwards, the Bible was still wrapped in the cellophane and had never been taken out of the package', which just told you everything there was. He was spinning right to the end."

Bank Failures in 2008
John McCain said "our economy is strong" during the bank failure crisis. We, the citizens, saved the world's economy bailing out the billionaires who created it and they lost nothing. They should have gone to jail for the economic crisis they created and the money they stole.

George H.W. Bush Sr. on atheism:
Question: "Surely you recognize the equal citizenship and patriotism of Americans who are atheists?"
Bush Sr:.
"No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots.
This is one nation under God."

Barbara Bush

Addressing the question of how much television news she'd recently been watching, in light of the enormous media attention given to likely outcomes in a U.S. war with Iraq. The interview took place two days prior to the start of the Iraq War, Good Morning America (18 March 2003):
"But why should we hear about body bags and deaths, and how many, what day it's gonna happen, and how many this or that or what do you suppose? Or, I mean, it's not relevant. So, why should I waste my beautiful mind on something like that, and watch him (her husband, former president George H. W. Bush) suffer?"

Private Security Shooting at Iraqi Civilians
The Telegraph reported in November of 2005 about this "trophy" video that seems to show war crimes. It appears to show private security guards in Baghdad randomly shooting Iraqi civilians. The video first appeared on a website that has been linked unofficially to Aegis Defence Services who were under contract to the U.S.

March 2004 - Bush Jokes - Soldiers Die
He jokes about not finding WMD's
in Iraq
That year thru March, 118 soldiers died

Bush jokes about not being able to find WMD's in Iraq (March 2004) as reported by The Guardian. He did this at the Annual dinner of the Radio and Television Correspondents' Association. At the end of his presentation he used images of American soldiers to support his murderous war. He should be in jail for his lies that took us to war and killed thousands.
